There’s no denying that in our lifetime computers have become ubiquitous. They're in our homes, our phones, our cars -- almost anywhere humans go, computers seem to follow. But how did this happen? It is our goal to uncover some of the people who were responsible for the computers that we take for granted today. Who were they? What were their ambitions? What brought them to make such bold discoveries? And perhaps most importantly, what can we learn from them and where can we expect the future of computing to take us? This site seeks to shed some light on five key figures in computing, as well as validate and celebrate their achievements.
